I slept like a baby last night. Since giving up fizzy drink, every night I’ve had the most amazing sleep. I used to be addicted to Diet Coke and could drink up to 6 cans a day 🤦🏻♀️ but now I don’t miss it at all. Fizzy drink just made me feel so rubbish, so bloated, major headaches, bad teeth, acid reflux, not to mention the rest. Getting into the habit of drinking water is so good! I’ve had a few people tell me that they really struggle to drink water, and I totally get that. We mainly drink sugar free flavoured water, or add sugar free squash. I find that drinking from 1 litre bottles really helps me opposed to big 2 litre bottles that just feel like they’re too big and overwhelming. So with breakfast, I finish a 1 litre bottle of water, again the same at lunch, and the same at dinner. I find the evenings easier to drink water, not sure why that is. Obviously you need the loo a lot more when you drink lots of water, but the more you go to the loo and the more you drink, the more weight you tend to lose! My skin has also been so much better since cutting out fizzy, drinking more water and changing my diet. Water is just the key to everything in my opinion. How much water do you drink?! We’ve recently started doing some exercise too which if you know me, you’ll be as shocked about that as I am. Believe me. I think the reason I always hated exercise in the past was because I just didn’t have the energy or motivation to want to do it. We go swimming now. We became members last year to a private health club and use their pool as much as we can, we need to get back in the routine of going regularly again as we also want to take an aqua aerobics class too as we both love being in the water! I hate walking, but since eating healthily and losing a little bit of weight, I’ve definitely found I’ve had more energy which as a result has made me walk more. Each morning we do 20 minutes of cardio at home. I find Instagram such a good source of motivation for this, there’s so much you can do from home these days which mean you don’t need to go to a gym which can seem incredibly daunting, if like me, you’ve never liked exercise!

Lunch – We spent the afternoon by the river since the sun was shining today. I could definitely think of worse ways to spend my Friday ☀️ – 204 calories for lunch 💕1 Litre of water
Dinner – Ive been looking forward to this dinner literally all week! It’s my favourite thing Tazmyns ever made (after her roasts!) Hoisin beef, with long stem broccoli & we served ours with fresh rice noodles from M&S, so for this entire meal it was – 565 Calories 💓

I got some salted caramel rice cakes from M&S today which are 90 calories each so I’m definitely going to have one tonight with a cup of tea! We still need to catch up with that Trevor McDonald thing that was on telly last night. Was it any good?!
