Day 50. Look for the magic in everyday.

Good morning sweets! 💕 Day 50 already wahhhh! Time really does go by so quickly. We had a super early start to the day this morning, up & having breakfast at 7:30am & getting ready for a day with the in-laws who are coming to visit today. We’re also going to give them their Easter gifts which I’m really looking toward to. I’ll post some photos of what we got them below in this post. I actually came up with the idea of what to get both my mumma & mother in law, as I thought it was a more thoughtful gift opposed to just regular chocolate. I hope they both love it! Keep reading this post to find out what we got them! ✨

Mondays food diary:

Breakfast – 200 Calories 🌸1 litre of water

Lunch – We had lunch in Nando’s today! We chose Nando’s as my inlaws hadn’t ever been before & also because we knew we could be relatively healthy. We both ordered the chicken Caesar salad which is 484 calories. I did get two sides of grilled halloumi & spicy olives so obviously it ended up being more calories but who cares. It was amazing! 🌸1 litre of water

Dinner – Chocolate slimfast Shake – 204 Calories

We had a really lovely day today! My inlaws loved their Easter present. We decided to get my mum and Tazmyns mum a photo frame each this year, & I think they look super cute! For my sister inlaws, we got them an Easter egg each from our favourite place on Earth, M&S of course! 💕__________

We’re going to do face masks & watch 24 hours in police custody tonight! Only 4 sleeps until our official second monthly weigh in! I’m so excited.

Day 49. Take a moment to appreciate how far you’ve come.

Hello everyone 🌸 I hope you’re all well. Apologies for not posting yesterday, it was kinda a write off. I slept most of the day, after throwing up all of Friday night. I think it’s safe to say red meat doesn’t like me, however much I love it. Sometimes I think I forget I don’t have a gallbladder anymore & my body can’t take as much as it once could. I hate being sick, I get super bad headaches & really emotional. Anyways, today’s a new day & the sun is shining ☀️ We’re off to meal plan in costa & I’m going to have a sunbed too! That’ll sort me right out.

I’m so very thankful for my amazing wife. I couldn’t love her more. We are the strongest we have ever been, the most content we have ever been and happier than we’ve ever been. I am the luckiest girl in the world.

Breakfast – Porridge, made with coconut milk, topped with granola, flax seeds & frozen raspberries 🌸 – 200 Calories 1 litre of water

Lunch – Back to normality! Cortado, Shake, watermelon from M&S! 🌻💗 204 Calories.1 litre of water

Dinner – It’s Sunday so it’s another M&S meal! We both picked out the same one tonight and it was seriously amazing!! 😍😍😍I find having it with a salad really bulks out the meal & feels like more! Can’t beat anything from M&S anyway can you?!

Pudding – watermelon & jelly – 3 Calories 🌸

It’s making me cringe that every single TV channel at the moment is speculating what type of birth Meghan Markle is going to have. Leave the girl in peace to have her baby however she wants! Day 43. Hold on to your vision 🌸

Good morning! I hope you’ve all had an amazing weekend & are ready for a brand new week full of new, exciting opportunities! 🌻 I’ve got to say, I’m really not loving these grey skies I’m waking up to recently, all the April showers and the cold nights. It’s meant to be spring! Give me all the fresh sunshine mornings & smell of cut grass 😍 to top it all, Ruth & Eamon are presenting This Morning throughout the Easter holidays, so things are pretty miserable all round this morning. Everything, apart my motivation, that is still as strong as it ever was. We have just over a week until our official second month weigh in & I’m really excited to see how we’ve done! Our holiday is just around the corner too, so there’s lots to look forward to! 🧡

Monday’s food diary:

Breakfast – My usual! Porridge, made with coconut milk, topped with frozen raspberries, chia & flax seeds! (No granola this morning) – 200 Calories. 💕

Dinner – Simple dinners are the best! Was meant to have roasted green beans with this tonight but I fancied salad instead! So I made seasoned chicken breast, hasselback potatoes and all the salad! – 347 Calories 🖤🌻Pudding – fresh strawberries

– I’m doing pedicures for both my mum & Tazmyn tonight which will take forever, so a cup of tea and a salted caramel rice cake is definitely on the cards for later on when I’m in bed & watching 24 hours in police custody! 🙈

Day 33. Decide every morning that you’re in a good mood 💫

I slept like a baby last night. Since giving up fizzy drink, every night I’ve had the most amazing sleep. I used to be addicted to Diet Coke and could drink up to 6 cans a day 🤦🏻‍♀️ but now I don’t miss it at all. Fizzy drink just made me feel so rubbish, so bloated, major headaches, bad teeth, acid reflux, not to mention the rest. Getting into the habit of drinking water is so good! I’ve had a few people tell me that they really struggle to drink water, and I totally get that. We mainly drink sugar free flavoured water, or add sugar free squash. I find that drinking from 1 litre bottles really helps me opposed to big 2 litre bottles that just feel like they’re too big and overwhelming. So with breakfast, I finish a 1 litre bottle of water, again the same at lunch, and the same at dinner. I find the evenings easier to drink water, not sure why that is. Obviously you need the loo a lot more when you drink lots of water, but the more you go to the loo and the more you drink, the more weight you tend to lose! My skin has also been so much better since cutting out fizzy, drinking more water and changing my diet. Water is just the key to everything in my opinion. How much water do you drink?! We’ve recently started doing some exercise too which if you know me, you’ll be as shocked about that as I am. Believe me. I think the reason I always hated exercise in the past was because I just didn’t have the energy or motivation to want to do it. We go swimming now. We became members last year to a private health club and use their pool as much as we can, we need to get back in the routine of going regularly again as we also want to take an aqua aerobics class too as we both love being in the water! I hate walking, but since eating healthily and losing a little bit of weight, I’ve definitely found I’ve had more energy which as a result has made me walk more. Each morning we do 20 minutes of cardio at home. I find Instagram such a good source of motivation for this, there’s so much you can do from home these days which mean you don’t need to go to a gym which can seem incredibly daunting, if like me, you’ve never liked exercise!

Lunch – We spent the afternoon by the river since the sun was shining today. I could definitely think of worse ways to spend my Friday ☀️ – 204 calories for lunch 💕1 Litre of water

Dinner – Ive been looking forward to this dinner literally all week! It’s my favourite thing Tazmyns ever made (after her roasts!) Hoisin beef, with long stem broccoli & we served ours with fresh rice noodles from M&S, so for this entire meal it was – 565 Calories 💓

I got some salted caramel rice cakes from M&S today which are 90 calories each so I’m definitely going to have one tonight with a cup of tea! We still need to catch up with that Trevor McDonald thing that was on telly last night. Was it any good?!

Good morning! How are you today? Tazmyn told me yesterday that one of my tops now looks like a dress on me, so I think that’s indication I’m going in the right direction and losing weight! I can’t wait until our next weigh in, it feels like ages away but I know it’ll come around before I know it! We started our morning by listening to some Ariana Grande today & doing two loads of laundry. Is there anything better than an empty laundry basket though?! I’ve gained quite a few more Instagram followers recently, so if you want to keep up with what I eat/do each day, definitely pop me a follow on there and I’ll follow back! Between this, insta and Pinterest, there’s no way I will fall off track, I find them all such good sources of inspiration! What inspires you?

Breakfast – 200 Calories 🌸 what do you have on your porridge? We find granola sprinkled on top gives it a really nutty texture and makes it a lot more filling. Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day. 1.5 litres of water 💦

Lunch – Today we had our first lunch out in 5 weeks! To us that’s definitely a huge thing! We used to go out for lunch at least twice a week so today it felt like a real treat. We went for a healthy option though, jacket potato and chilli which was 476 Calories1 litre of water

We spent the afternoon shopping in Bracknell. 5 weeks ago, we’d have gone to Bracknell for a Zizzi lunch which consisted of a whole American hot pizza each followed by pudding. We’d skim primark for 10 minutes and that would be it, we’d be too tired and feel sluggish so didn’t look in any shops! Now though, we have so much energy and we looked in so many shops! I even treated myself to some new sunglasses in River Island for our holiday in June! We’re definitely loving this new burst of energy we both have and can’t wait for many many more shopping trips in the future! 💓

Dinner – I just made us some scrambled eggs on toast for dinner this evening to fill us up, which was 262 Calories – that includes two slices of whole meal toast. 1 litre of water 🌸

We watch an episode of my 600lb life every single night before bed, and I honestly just can’t rate it enough! Best show ever made.
