Day 52. Trust the process.

Waking up to sunshine is my most favourite thing. I love spring more than I love summer. Easter time is such a happy, fresh time of year. We have a lovely weekend planned over Easter.. what are your plans? The weather is supposed to be really really warm which is always a bonus! ☀️🌻

Today we are off swimming! Wednesdays are our swimming days, we try to go at least twice a week but always stick to wednesdays regardless. We always feel super relaxed after we’ve been swimming.

Dinner – Faveeeee kinda dinner! We burned off so many calories today swimming so were really hungry for an early tea. ALL this for 300 calories. 3 chorizo & red pepper Linda McCartney sausages (these will be amazing on the barbecue in the summer!) swede, broccoli, peas & sweetcorn. Gravy too but I don’t count calories for gravy & drinks 💜 luuuuush dinner.1 more litre of water this evening

Day 50. Look for the magic in everyday.

Good morning sweets! 💕 Day 50 already wahhhh! Time really does go by so quickly. We had a super early start to the day this morning, up & having breakfast at 7:30am & getting ready for a day with the in-laws who are coming to visit today. We’re also going to give them their Easter gifts which I’m really looking toward to. I’ll post some photos of what we got them below in this post. I actually came up with the idea of what to get both my mumma & mother in law, as I thought it was a more thoughtful gift opposed to just regular chocolate. I hope they both love it! Keep reading this post to find out what we got them! ✨

Mondays food diary:

Breakfast – 200 Calories 🌸1 litre of water

Lunch – We had lunch in Nando’s today! We chose Nando’s as my inlaws hadn’t ever been before & also because we knew we could be relatively healthy. We both ordered the chicken Caesar salad which is 484 calories. I did get two sides of grilled halloumi & spicy olives so obviously it ended up being more calories but who cares. It was amazing! 🌸1 litre of water

Dinner – Chocolate slimfast Shake – 204 Calories

We had a really lovely day today! My inlaws loved their Easter present. We decided to get my mum and Tazmyns mum a photo frame each this year, & I think they look super cute! For my sister inlaws, we got them an Easter egg each from our favourite place on Earth, M&S of course! 💕__________

We’re going to do face masks & watch 24 hours in police custody tonight! Only 4 sleeps until our official second monthly weigh in! I’m so excited.

It’s making me cringe that every single TV channel at the moment is speculating what type of birth Meghan Markle is going to have. Leave the girl in peace to have her baby however she wants! Anywayssssss.. it’s almost the weekend!! What’s in store for you this weekend? I hope the sunshine is here to stay! 🌸

Dinner – Tonight we made baked vegetable risotto which is a recipe from the hairy bikers! It was actually really really yummy. Definitely have it again! 🌸 – 350 Calories 1 litre of water

Day 44. Believe in you 🌻✨

Today is our food shopping day! We used to do online shops each week but since eating healthy, we prefer actually going into a supermarket and picking out the things we want rather than just having them delivered to us. Is there anything on your shopping list that is a must have each time you go? For us, it’s of course bottled water! We have a fridge freezer dedicated to just bottled water in our house 🤦🏻‍♀️ how kardashians does that sound? It’s true though! We are obsessed with sugar free strawberry flavoured water and stock up on it each week! I also like to stock up on salty popcorn (sweet for Tazmyn) as I find popcorn the perfect little snack if I’m ever craving something salty. I go for the individual packets rather than a big bag of popcorn, that way you know exactly how many calories you’re having. We always buy fresh fruit, rice cakes (healthier alternative to biscuits!) and cereal bars, as they too are great little snacks if you ever need something sweet! We always make sure we have lots of porridge in our cupboards and coconut milk in the fridge! Coconut milk can be pricy, my favourite brand is definitely the “Koko” brand which is usually £1.50 per carton, but often there will be a deal where you can get 2 for £2! The reason I love this brand more so than Alpro, is because it’s a lot thicker and creamier and when making porridge, I love thick creamy porridge so it works a lot better where as Alpro is quite watery. All personal preference of course! 💗

Afternoon snack: little bag of salty popcorn – 42 calories

Dinner – Tonight I made red lentil pasta, with seasoned chicken breasts, peas & reduced fat red pesto! Tazmyn absolutely loves when I cook this, and I’m definitely a fan of the red pesto more so than green! For this entire bowl of yummy pasta was just 373 calories 🌸😘Pudding – Fresh strawberries & jelly – 3 Calories.

Evening snack: I’m really trying to get myself into the habit of NOT having any snacks throughout the day at all, if you watch my 600lb life, you’ll remember Dr Nowzaradan tells all his patients to stick to 3 meals a day, no snacking in between as it leads to binging, which I can so relate to! But we used to have tea & hobnob biscuits in bed pretty much every evening, so we’re making positive changes & eventually, I’ll have a day with NO snacks!

Tonight, we’re trying out these cute little bars from Tesco at 99 Calories each. Perfect with a cup of tea! ☕️🧡

Day 43. Hold on to your vision 🌸

Good morning! I hope you’ve all had an amazing weekend & are ready for a brand new week full of new, exciting opportunities! 🌻 I’ve got to say, I’m really not loving these grey skies I’m waking up to recently, all the April showers and the cold nights. It’s meant to be spring! Give me all the fresh sunshine mornings & smell of cut grass 😍 to top it all, Ruth & Eamon are presenting This Morning throughout the Easter holidays, so things are pretty miserable all round this morning. Everything, apart my motivation, that is still as strong as it ever was. We have just over a week until our official second month weigh in & I’m really excited to see how we’ve done! Our holiday is just around the corner too, so there’s lots to look forward to! 🧡

Monday’s food diary:

Breakfast – My usual! Porridge, made with coconut milk, topped with frozen raspberries, chia & flax seeds! (No granola this morning) – 200 Calories. 💕

Good morning sweets! 🧡 I hope you’re well, I can’t believe we’re half way through another week already. Time is honestly passing us by so quickly. We now have 70 days until our two week holiday to Turkey which is just 10 weeks! My goal is still to lose 3 stone by the time we go on holiday, or as close to 3 stone as I can get. Today we went swimming! We have memberships at a private health spa and used to go all of the time, at least 3/4 times a week, we’ve been slacking lately but definitely going to pick it back up again. Swimming is just an amazing exercise. I’m not confident in the water at all, but it’s amazing how good you feel after swimming. We really want to take an aqua aerobics class at some stage too.

Breakfast – 200 Calories 🌸 (forgot to take a bloody photo!) But my usual, porridge made with coconut milk, topped with raspberries, granola, chia and flax seeds! Don’t think I’ll ever get bored of this breakfast really.

Day 35. Happy mummy’s day 🌸

To all mothers, grandmothers, aunties, sisters and cousins out there today, but most importantly my mother inlaw, my uncles wife and my lovely mum, happy mummy’s day! I hope you’ve been spoilt all day long and appreciated for all that you do for us! 💗

My poor mama works flat out every year for Mother’s Day, being a florist definitely takes a toll on her, ensuring all the other mums have beautiful flowers for this special day. She’s even working today! But I can’t wait to see her later.
